How it works

NOWi catches leaks before your water bill does.

A monitor on your meter or pipe reports water use every minute. When water runs without stopping, you get a text and an email. Here is one leak, start to finish.

Why bills miss it

Would you know there's a leak here?

These are Building C's water bills for November through April. Take a look, then answer.

Monthly water billGallons per billing period
Every minute

Flow readings arrive minute by minute, around the clock, for every monitored meter or pipe.

Alerts on limits you set
  • Instant: flow goes above a rate you choose, like a burst pipe.
  • Hourly or daily: more gallons in an hour or a day than your limit.
  • After hours: water used when the building should be closed.
  • Constant flow: water that has not stopped for 24 hours, like a running toilet.

Every alert goes out by text and email.

How it's done

Reads your existing meter or clamps onto the pipe.

Either way there is no downtime, no plumbing changes and no plumber. Each monitor has cellular built in, so there is no WiFi, hub or gateway to set up.

Clamped onto a pipeSensors clamp to the outside of the pipe. No cutting, no shutoff.
1Attach

Put the monitor on the meter you already have, or clamp it to the outside of the pipe. Minutes, with the water still running.

2Connect

It joins the cellular network on its own and starts reporting minute-by-minute flow.
